Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Purchase / Procurement Manager with experience in OEM, auto parts, and vehicle companies. The candidate will manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and procurement operations, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with quality standards across multiple materials and components.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end procurement of materials, components, and services for OEM, auto parts, and vehicle manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, including OEMs and tier-1/2 suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery timelines for cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability for production lines.
- Collaborate with quality, production, and finance teams to meet production and cost targets.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives, supplier performance improvement programs, and process optimization.
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT for vendor communication, reporting, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation in OEM, auto parts, and vehicle industries.
- Familiarity with material planning, inventory management, and ERP systems.
- Understanding of metal, plastic, rubber, and automotive components supply chains.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements, cost efficiency, and supplier performance.
