Job Summary
We are hiring a Design Engineer with strong expertise in designing metal and plastic components. The candidate should be proficient in using all major design software tools and capable of delivering innovative, accurate, and cost-effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop metal & plastic components/products as per client requirements.
- Work on 3D modeling, drafting, and detailing using industry-standard CAD software.
- Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T, and DFMEA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Tooling) for design feasibility.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation phases.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software: CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD (any or multiple).
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, plastic injection molding, sheet metal, casting, and machining processes.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOM creation.
- Hands-on experience with product development lifecycle.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2+ years of experience in designing metal & plastic components.
CTC / Compensation
- Best in Industry – based on skills and interview performance.
